2011 Northwest Open

Warren Bailey, Jasper Jackson, Jesse Keaveny, and Joel Lawrence all of Anchorage competed in this years Northwest Open Racquetball tournament in Bellingham, Washington this past Weekend. This was the 40th year for this event. The tournament drew 147 participants and the competition was GREAT! Jasper Jackson finished 1st in both Men's B's and Men's -24/30 A/B, Warren Bailey & Joel teamed up in the Elite Doubles and finished 3rd. Two former Alaskan players Grace Leutele (Now a Married Woman) and Jimmy Lowe both competed in the Open finals where they were defeated by Cheyenne Hayes and Taylor Knoth respectfully. Thank You to all the tournament staff for all their HARD WORK we are all looking forward to our next visit. On our way back to Anchorage we had a 7 hour layover in Juneau so that is where the last few photos were taken.
