The Alaska Club North (Fairbanks) hosted the 2006 Ice Fog Classic again this year. Well It finally had to happen we have a repeat winner in the Men's Open division in this the 7th tournament of the Alaska Season. (1) Shane McAfee steady as always outlasted his long time doubles partner (3) Jim Hage to take the Singles title in 2 straight games 15-5, 15-5. In the Men's Open Doubles the make shift team of Justin Campbell (Fairbanks) and Jesse Keaveny (Anchorage) took the win over Shane & Jim 15-14, 15-11. Even though the weather never got above 0 while we were in town for the tournament everyone seemed to have a lot of FUN thanks to the Fairbanks tournament staff. I look forward to next Year already.
